Why is my Thai DTV visa application still pending after two months?
I am a Chinese citizen and submitted an online application for a DTV visa to the Thai Consulate in Shanghai. I was quickly asked to provide proof of a frozen deposit covering a one-year period, which I did. Shortly after, I was asked to submit a letter of explanation, which I also provided. Two months have passed, yet the status remains "pending document check." This is very confusing to me.

Sorry..the best thing I can tell people is to use an agent....it's cheap like 5000 baht and they make sure everything is done correctly.. because if you aren't approved it means your 5000 baht fee gets refunded.
