Hi I think I need an accountants letter( won’t be able to provide a tax return for when I want to apply) and am planning to apply through the London embassy. Does anyone know of any reputable accountants. Not really familiar with any if this sort of thing as this is the first time I will be self-employed. If anyone could direct me on what to look for online would be helpful. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining an accountant's letter to support their visa application through the London embassy, as they do not have a tax return to submit due to being self-employed for the first time. Comments suggest potential issues with the visa application process due to the lack of a portfolio and tax documents, and recommend communicating openly with the embassy about the situation.

Iffy entry scheme if you're new to the freelancer game with no portfolio, don't have tax returns and expect an accountant to magically compose something out of nothing. Suggest you abandon the digital nomad route and apply for soft power. After you get established, if you need to show any ongoing proof you can produce some documentation of your recent endeavor

You just let the embassy know why you don't have a tax return, if they ask for one.

What do you expect the accountant to say?
