Do I need to have my flight and hotel booked for a DTV application at the Paris Embassy?

Intended departure and hotel booking - Paris Embassy

I’m applying for a DTV for a 9-month Muay Thai course and had a few questions:

For the flight, can I just put the details of a flight I’m planning to take without actually booking it? Do they check?

For the departure date, does it have to match the end of the 9-month course, or can I put any date within the 180 days?

And for accommodation, can I just put a hotel for the first few weeks I am planning to stay without actually booking it yet? I would then plan to find a condo in Bangkok.

I would rather avoid booking hotel and flight tickets before being approved. Is it a big matter and do they ask for bookings?

I am asking for PARIS Embassy please.

You have to book the flight and hotel, these are some of the documents you have to submit for the DTV,

for the hotel just book 1 night in a hotel and submit that document, they know we cannot stay in a hotel for 9 months and must find a condo

At the french embassy none of those documents are requested actually

those documents are not asked on the dtv application website no, and each embassy asks for their own specific documents. But thank you for your reply. I will see what I do

Anonymous participant it asks for the date and flight you intend to travel, it doesn't say show us your tickets
