Hi all,

I’m from the UK and applied for a non-immigrant B employment visa on 21st Sept. Didn’t get an email confirmation but the online page says my application is processing. It’s now October 5th and I still haven’t received anything… and I’m mean to fly this week. I also can’t get through to the embassy phone lines.

Any advice?

Answer summary

An expat from the UK applied for a non-immigrant B employment visa and experienced delays in receiving confirmation. As of October 5th, the visa was still processing, and the applicant was concerned about upcoming travel. Community members noted that the processing time is typically 15 business days and suggested checking spam folders for any missed communications. They advised patience, as there wasn't a way to expedite the process. Eventually, the applicant provided an update confirming receipt of the visa.

Unfortunately there isn’t much you can do as you can’t speed it up.

The posted processing time for evisa applications through the Thai Consulate in London is 15 business days. You check your spam/junk mail folders to make sure they didn't email you for additional documentation correct? Not much you can do other than wait it out and hope for the best that it gets approved before your flight

15 business days should mean on October 12... Unless they take your travel date in consideration....
