Submitted application and payment to Chicago consulate and it is now telling me “pending payment” after it said my debit payment failed. I did not receive any sort of fraud notification from bank, nor have a seen any payments out of my account. It’s not giving an option to retry payment again. Any advice on what to do? Thanks in advance 🙏
Update: I restarted application and used another debit card. Had to verify with bank before having it approved the 3rd time! It’s now in processing.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user submitted a visa application at the Chicago consulate but encountered issues with their debit card payment, which initially failed and was marked as 'pending payment'. After not receiving a fraud notification from the bank and no money being deducted, the user decided to restart the application with a different debit card. The user had to verify the new card with their bank before successfully completing the payment, and the application is now in processing. Comments suggest trying another card if issues persist and indicate a common experience among other users.
You need to pay for 10k cuz your bank card wasn't accepted. That could be either a mistake while you typed the number/data of your card or it could happen that your card isn't supported. I'd suggest to try with another card at first, if you have only that one then try again
Mine did the same at first. As long as it didn’t take your money from your account just redo the application (at least that’s what I did) I think it has something to do with using a debit card vs a credit card
