hello guys, i'm in Taipei. I'm a business owner. They asked me to provide proof of income payments, however i don't give myself a salary directly.

And my savings (1 million+) is kept in my company account, not my personnal one.

Would you have a solution for me please ?

please don't try to teach me a lesson, let's be focused on solutions.

thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user from Taipei, a business owner, struggles to provide proof of income for a visa application. They do not take a salary directly and hold over a million THB in their company account instead of a personal account. Various suggestions are made, including transferring funds to a personal account, explaining the flow of funds from their companies, and potentially hiring an agent to assist with the application process. The community emphasizes the importance of personal banking statements and the flow of money to demonstrate financial stability.

If you’re applying for DTV, I believe that the money needs to be in your personal account.

Now even if you do that you probably have to have it sit in the account for 6 months.

Quick solution is to hire an agent who will provide the proof of finance for you.

You are the one applying for the DTV, so the money need to be in YOUR account, not the account of the compagny.

As a socalled business owner you should be aware of that the compagny’s money are not your money.

I wrote a post just the other day saying to AVOID taipei because they are extremely picky. They want to see that money goes from the company directly in your bank account every month. Do you move any money from the company to your personal bank account (which is the one you've supposed to show as proof for the 500k) or to any other account? I would avoid showing any thai bank account, that would make things even worse

I applied as business owner and i had to send them my personal bank statement for 6 months. And of course it shows my income and expenses

Transfer the 1 mill to a personal account and explain you are not in receipt of a direct salary and demonstrate where you get your monthly income from. Taipei is very strict on verifying income.

Company account doesn't work for the 500k requirement. You have to have 500k thb or more in a personal account not company. You can then show the deposits to that personal account from the company account.

suggest you write a brief explanatory note along with a bank statement or two showing the transfers, and possibly some documentation that company B is yours as well. You're in wing it territory now.

I believe that you need to provide a graphic showing the flow of $$ from your clients to your business company bank account and payments $$ to you as the company owner for your services.

Is your company bank account in France or ??

Do you have a personal bank account in France or Thailand

You will need to show PROOF of your having 500,000 Thai baht or more in a personal bank account somewhere, with supporting bank account balance statements which meets the Taipei Thai Embassy's requirement.

thanks for your helpful reply. Show that by explaining it in your reply to the Thai Embassy. Show proof of your LLC in the USA. Flow of money from client to LLC to your personal bank account.

For clarity... you have a LLC registered in the USA ?

Sending money from it in British pounds to your Thai bank account ?

Do you file a federal income tax return to the USA IRS?

Do you have 500,000 Thai baht in a personal bank account anywhere?

you have a company but don't pay yourself a salary?

Do you file an Income Tax Return anywhere? In France, your home country?

Which would show salary payments to you as its business owner?

Your business coaching clients pay you for your advice, assuming those $$ go to your company account.

How do you draw down to pay yourself for your everyday living expenses ETC in Thailand?

Somehow you need to state how you are compensated for your services by your clients who are outside of Thailand. And how you receive those $$ personally.

I wish you success 🍀
