Will my low salary be an issue for my visa application, and what documents should I provide?

UPDATE: I successfully got the Visa in Hanoi.

Will it have any problems if my salary is only 350€ net? I work part time.

Should I state in my cover letter that I have more savings and investments that I live of or does that unneccesarily complicate it?

I have more than the 500k THB in the bank account I will show them, its closer to 1.500k THB for some years already. Plus an stock broker account with 3.500k TBH in cash, but I wouldn't show that because it's not a bank account.

Should I provide them with documents like payslips, business registration of my employer, rental contract for thailand without them asking for it in the application? I read that many people are getting asked for those documents and I want to speed up the process as much as possible.

I will be applying in Hanoi, Vietnam.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has successfully obtained a visa in Hanoi and is now inquiring if their net salary of 350€ could pose a problem. They also want to know if they should mention their significant savings (1.5 million THB) and investments (3.5 million THB in a stock broker account) in their cover letter, and whether they should proactively submit documents like payslips and employer registration to expedite the application process. Comments from the community clarify that there is no minimum income requirement, and providing documents upfront may aid in a smooth approval.

The post is 2 weeks old. They added an "update" line to say that what they did was accepted.

Same with me, I have only 1200 euro net income per month from my part time job, the most income come from trading, round about 50k € profit per year. Hope it's no problem

Its OK just show them what you got.

1200 EUR a month is sufficient for living in Thailand too as long as you're not supporting anyone else

No minimum income requirement so you are fine. Providing payslips, business registration from the start will help you get approved much quicker with no requests to submit them

Don't need to supply documents regarding your accommodation in Thailand

When you write 1.500k do you mean ฿1,500,000? As in one million, five hundred thousand? And the broker account has 3.5 million?

Anonymous participant May I suggest then, that when you're writing your cover letter, that you use complete numbers for those figures? If those amounts are not in Thai baht, then a few words describing the exchange rate at the time of writing will also help remove any confusion.

Whilst the brokerage account may not be accepted for proof of funds for the qualifying 500k, it may go some way to showing that you have enough money to live on, so you may wish to include it in your submission and mention it in your letter.

Good luck with your application.
