TLDR : Answer Summary
A user mistakenly took their old passport for a visa run, and their current extension ends today. They seek advice on what to expect at the Cambodian border and what documents to bring. Comments advise that they will incur a fine for overstaying their visa, which is 500 THB per day, and suggest ensuring the visa run company is informed about the overstay.

Okay Rudi, you're obviously going to be on a day overstay and pay 500baht at the border when you stamp out. Make sure the visa run company you're going with knows you're going to be on overstay BEFORE you get in their van.

Be careful if you have history of back to back entries and tourist visas for Thailand. If flying out OK...but return by land...airports are watching closely per reports.

Also when applying for other nations tourist visas many ask what countries and when have you visited? Keep old expired passports. Very helpful in looking up the answer.

Do not throw it away...the US Visa is good for ten years. Show it whenever you enter US along with new passport. Also the US visa can get you entry into countries possibly your passport alone cannot.
