TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about providing proof of accommodation to Thai immigration upon arriving with their DTV visa, as they can only book a hotel for one month. They ask whether they need to book accommodation for the remaining months or if stating they will find a condo is sufficient. Community responses reassure them that a single month's booking is adequate and that immigration typically does not ask for extended proof of accommodation.
Relax, you won't be asked for "proof of accommodation". Just fill in the TDAC before arrival and present your passport + DTV printout and you'll be fine. I've been in and out 8 times with ZERO questions asked.
Just show the Thai Immigration Officer a printed copy of the DTV visa you have received. IF any questions, give the initial booking address of your hotel or place you will be staying. No need for ADDED bookings...just say if asked that you will be searching available hotels or condos.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight βοΈ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
