I’m wondering if anyone can tell me what the difference is between the Phuket visa extension offices.
We’re staying in Patong, came in on a 30 visa on arrival with a US passport (into BKK initially).
Does anyone recommend Beach office, Blue Tree, or Old Town Phuket over one other?
Thanks for your assistance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation covers the differences among various visa extension offices in Phuket, specifically the Beach office, Blue Tree, and Old Town Phuket. Users recommend the Blue Tree office for its organized service and shorter wait times. The discussion clarifies misconceptions about visa types, emphasizing that a 30-day visa on arrival is a visa exempt stamp. Users also share their experiences with wait times at different offices and outline necessary documents for extending a visa, including a passport, copies of relevant pages, and the completion of form TM7.
Bangkok is easy if you go to the right place and get there early. If you thought you had a visa and went to main office then that would have been stressful as it's the wrong place for visa exempt extension
You will need a pen, your passport, a copy of your passport photo page, a copy of your entry stamp, a copy of your visa - if you had one and a passport sized photo. You fill out form TM7
