What should I do after my DTV application was rejected in Thailand?

As it says on the Embassy’s webstite, no explanation will be given in case of rejection.

And the visafee is non-refundable.

Having 500,000 THB in your bank account and submitting all the documents doesn't automatically guarantee DTV approval. Each application is assessed individually, so your friend's approval doesn't necessarily mean your application met the same requirements.

I'd recommend contacting the Thai Embassy in Islamabad directly to request clarification, although they may not disclose the reason for refusal.

Before reapplying, it's important to review your entire application. Common issues to check include:

- Funds not maintained for the required period or insufficient financial evidence.

- Funds held in a company or another person's account instead of your personal account.

- Insufficient evidence of remote work or qualifying Soft Power activities.

- Applying from an ineligible country or failing to provide the required proof of residence.

- Missing or incorrectly prepared criminal record certificate.
