Nishan Disanayake I can not speak on Sri Lanka as every embassy is different. However, the online portal is the same. I did provide a PDF document of my work that included a bio on the first page with a link to my website.

on the online portal there is the section to upload pdf of bank statement. All I uploaded was the cover sheet for just the most previous month. No additional documentation was required.

From my understanding, for Cambodia:

(+) has less scrutiny / paperwork,

(-) costs a bit more $

(-) and takes a bit longer to process

That is incorrect. Each embassy charges different amounts. I paid $400 USD.
