TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the application process for a DTV visa in Hanoi. Key points include the importance of being aware of document requirements, which may change, and that using an agent can simplify the process despite added costs. Participants mentioned that the application approval time can range from 10 to 21 days, highlighting that personal circumstances may affect the timeline. It was also suggested to utilize community resources, such as specific Facebook groups, to gather more information. There were warnings against applying due to cracks down on unverified applicants in Hanoi.

Sharing based on our experience assisting applicants through the process:

Doing it yourself saves on agent fees but depending on the embassy they may have preferences on how documents should be prepared and what are acceptable. That being said, this FB group has plenty of information if you know how to search for it. That said, requirements do change without notice.

Using an agent dealing with high number of applicants would mean they are up to date on the latest requirements.

Some also provide money back guarantee on the full service fee as well as the visa application which would give you a peace of mind.

We work with a few visa agencies and help applicants understand the process, so happy to answer anything else if needed.

For approval duration our most recent applications in Hanoi took between 10–21 days, but this also depends on nationality and overall financial strength of the applicant.

Why not search the group, specifically for that embassy, that question has been answered countless times allready.

When you don’t want to be a contributing member of the group community, but only anonymous, why should anybody waste time to help such leeches of the group.

In Hanoi will take 10-15 business days. Can use paperwork from muaythai school to submit by yourself. Recommend this school, facebook: Chiangmai Muay Thai Gym , or IG : chiangmaimuaythaigym. Can support both DTV and EDUCATION visa.

Anonymous participant 133 not when you have enrolled in a Muay Thai training school course of training. You are expected to train with the gym. To do otherwise is fraud in obtaining the DTV visa.
