Hi,
I have a question about re-entry stamp.
I have a Non O extension and also a re-entry and will be flying into BKK next week.
I will show the officer my stamps, but as I have been seeing people here getting stamped in incorrectly, what should I be looking for when they stamp me in, (never used a re-entry before)
Will the stamp show the expiration date of my extension (23 August 2024) and will it have Non O stamped?
Thank you for a such a simple question.
TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand with a Non-O visa extension and a re-entry permit, you should ensure the immigration officer stamps your passport correctly. Key points to check on your stamp include: 1) The visa class should indicate 'RE' (for re-entry), not other classifications such as NON-B or NON-ED. 2) The admission date should reflect the date of your entry (today's date). 3) The stamp should show the expiration date for your extension, which is 23 August 2024 in your case. Some details might be handwritten, so double-check for accuracy.
