Hi guys! Need some appropriate advice, i've been laid off from work and my WP was already cut by the labor office, do i still need to go to immigration for the cancellation of my current non-b visa? Or just ignore it as it will be automatically cancelled upon leaving thailand? My next 90 day show up should be on November 11.

But i do have a flight schedule going back to my home country on oct. 21, i'm just worried if it will cause a conflict during the immig. Check at the airport? Thank you in advance for your answers! Have a great evening. πŸ™‚

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user who was laid off is seeking advice on whether they need to officially cancel their non-B visa at immigration after their work permit was cut. They are also concerned about their upcoming flight back home and potential issues during airport immigration checks.

Are you on a visa entry or an extension of stay? If on an entry on a visa you are okay. If you are on an extension of stay it was canceled the same day your work permit was canceled and your job ended. Yes, you need to go to immigration and cancel it officially with a letter from your employer or you will have trouble if you come back here and get a new job. Leaving the country is not an issue.

And since IO didn't know yet that my WP has been cancelled, i can stay until my next 90 day report on nov. 11, am i right? That means there's no overstay issue if i will leave thailand on oct. 21.

Thanks
@Monti *******
, It is an extension of stay (90 day report), i don't have any plan to come back and look for a job here in thailand. So there will be no issue right?
