What recent experiences do travelers have entering Thailand through BKK, particularly regarding questions and inspections?

Yes - BKK is still the smoothest for DTV workcation, especially for 2nd/3rd entry.

Pattern from recent 100+ reports:

- *BKK Suvarnabhumi + DMK:* 90% get 30 seconds, stamp, no question. Officers have DTV on screen already via eVisa system, they don't even ask for TDAC printout. 3rd entry remote worker is almost always that experience.

- *Phuket HKT + Chiang Mai CNX:* where most "interview" posts come from. Pull aside, 1-2 hour secondary, ask for live bank balance on phone, employment contract, accommodation. But even there, no first-hand report of a valid DTV being denied entry - they all got stamped eventually.

- *Denied entries you saw:* almost all soft power, and almost all because gym letter was expired / not long term (needs 6 months minimum) or they had no proof. Workcation denials are extremely rare. 3cb

For your 3rd entry via BKK:

Carry just in case on phone, not paper:

1. DTV eVisa PDF

2. Employment contract / freelance profile

3. Bank app showing 500k THB (∼$14k) live balance

4. TDAC done -

You won't be asked for onward ticket on DTV, but some airlines still ask.

Have you had any issues on entry 1 and 2? If those were also via BKK smooth, your profile is already in their system as clean and 3rd should be same.

I go about every 6 to 8 weeks. I was just there at the beginning of October. No problems and no issues.

No question asked at all. I showed a printed DTV doc tho rather than my phone.

I came in through the thai passport lane with wife 2 week's ago, 5 minutes tops smooth as silk . First time on my own all good as well , wife travels with me now to the 🇬🇧 so I will use thai lane from now , zero questions asked .

My spouse and I had our second entry at BKK on Oct. 14. We had all kinds of documents prepared but not one question was asked. I don't even think one word was spoken.

This morning at Suvarnabhumi. My 10+ entry in 2 years, no questions

Entered in July, smooth as always, no questions.

5 entries, the last one was Sep.28 never been spoken to except put your finger and look camera. Self employed and the visa been issued from my country , no lao or Vietnam, 5 years visa on 6 months cooking course or Mauy Thai.

3rd entry the other week and am on soft power stayed the full 6 months each entry no issues always use fast track line as I have Thai Girlfriend. But with all this talk may switch to marriage visa soon

I think for workcation,the company outside Thailand,so Thai io have no system to check,they can let passengers show 500k thb at bank app only,but for softpower,the academy/hospital inside Thailand,io can call them or use some Thai system to check

Just entered today for first time into BKK and no issues either. Only question was when will i stay until.

If you are a legit holder of a visa, and fulfill the requirements of the visa, you would have no reason to worry.

Immigration Officers just do their job, when they ask incoming travelers some questions of what the travelers intentions are.

Yep on Wednesday. Asked how long I was staying this time (first entry) I said until Dec 15. He asked if I had the ticket booked, I said no, and he stamped me until Dec 15.

So the date a gave was pretty important. But it works fine bc I genuinely have plans in Australia in December.
