Has anyone here worked with an agency to process their DTV visa?

I’d really appreciate any recommendations based on your experience.

The hospital didn’t really understand what letter I needed to prove my soft power. An agency sent me a text in thai to show the staff. One of the reasons why i need medical treatment is a brain injury which also causes me being unable to do much paperwork. It would have been cheaper without my cognitive disability but I was happy to have help and don’t se it as a waste of money. They were very patient with me and checked all my documents. Thai embassy in Switzerland approved it almost immediately

If you do use an agency use one with a money back guarantee and reasonable fees. All they can really do is check your application.

They call themselves Digital, BUT

How do I open a website,

How do I make an account.

They managed to make Facebook, so I would think they can do it so far.

Tell the country of origin of passport

Tell where you are, (this is the most difficult part)

What visa do you like?

(most choose the wrong one, but who cares)

Upload your passport

Upload a picture

When do you plan to fly to Thailand and just fill in a date you like to leave

Fill in where you like to stay

Than the hard part:

Question 1, your passport, done

Question 2, your picture done

Question 3, financial proof

Question 4, Employment contract

Question 5 proof of current location.

Yep, you need an agent to answer all this, to difficult for a random person.

I used a step by step guide that had letter templates and checklists that made it really easy to go through the process, and it was very affordable, compared to agent charges. It has all the steps of what to include, so nothing was missed.

I estimate it saved me about 10+ hours of my time researching and trying to find out what to do!

Got my visa in 4 business days.

PM me and I can share the link with you!

Asked literally every day.

Zero point in using an agent - it’s more time consuming and complex than just filling in the form yourself

Anonymous participant 244 And literally every day applicants are rejected. As you will know if you have applied yourself it isn't just filling in a form. Different embassies/consulates have different criteria. Nobody knows whether they publish (or even correctly apply) all their individual criteria because reason(s) for rejection aren't usually provided.

I did apply for myself with the supposedly most “complex” type. It took 20 mins plus the time to prepare my business docs (which agents can’t help with anyway).

Thereafter my wife did her own, as have a number of friends.

It’s super simple if you have a brain

Anonymous participant 244 Yourself, wife and friends all applied to the same Embassy? Sounds like you've all been fortunate and selected somewhere where they play the game according to their published rules. Many troll reports on this group spreading unease about how difficult things are but also how easy and straightforward too. The latter setting people up for a fail.
