Good morning all.

I have non imm O based on marriage and will be doing my 90 day border bounce today Mukdahan/Savanaket. I miscalculated the 90 days last entry to the Kingdom was 4/10/19.

What problems can I expect at Mukdahan this morning and more importantly problems for the entry this afternoon.

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat with a NON-O visa based on marriage is seeking advice about potential issues they might face while doing a border bounce at Mukdahan/Savanaket after miscalculating their 90-day stay. Responses indicate that while a 500 baht daily fine for overstaying is likely, serious issues like arrest or deportation are possible but not common. It's advised to check the entry stamp dates, pay any fines at the border, and be prepared for possible discretion from immigration officers upon re-entry.

Good Luck, safe travels, you shouldn't have ANY problem at the border. You're far from the first foreigner who mixed up the date they need to bounce out and back for a new 90 day stamp :)

you won't have a problem once you actually get TO the border, pay the overstay fine, get the overstay stamp, stamp out of thailand, cross into Lao stamp in and out, then turn around and stamp back into thailand.

I'd say take a look at your entry stamp and set a reminder in your phone to let you know a few days before your next 90 day bounce is due.

Good Luck

okay, how about looking at that entry stamp and seeing what date you were stamped in until?

As I count it you should have been stamped in until Jan 1st. So if you can bounce today you'll pay 1000baht.

's advice is sound. Don't get caught out on something else on the way to the border.

Many many people have done what you’ve done and miscalculated. At best you’ll get a fine for 500 baht per day overstay and a stamp on your passport. Worst case scenario is not one you’d want to go through. Hope all goes well. There should be no issues coming back in but that is up to the immigration officer you hand your passport to so we can’t predict what their actions will be.

I've read of people getting arrested, deported and banned for 1 day overstay on the way to border, be careful at checkpoints, would be much safer taking an airplane
