I will leave for Laos next week at the end of my first 60-day multiple-entry visa time. I will return 5 days later. I have the immigration stamp on my US passport.
What paperwork or fees will I need to reenter Thailand? My 6-month visa expires at the end of March

TLDR : Answer Summary
When reentering Thailand after a visit to Laos on a multiple-entry visa, ensure you have the correct documents. If your immigration stamp is simply an entry stamp and not a visa, you will need to be aware that stamping out will cancel that entry. If you have an eVisa, print the PDF you received and present it alongside your passport. To extend your stay, consider visiting the local Thai immigration office to apply for a 30-day extension before your exit.
You can simply go to the local Thai immigration office and apply for a 30 day extension of stay.
No need to do a BORDER BOUNCE yet.

If the stamp you have in your passport is just a small red entry stamp, it lets you stay here and is not your visa. So when you stamp out you will cancel that entry stamp
If you got an eVisa <- the PDF file emailed to you, you need to print that out and present it with your passport to the officer at passport control when you go to stamp back in to thailand
