Advice please, I should like to go and get a non o ME based on marriage from the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet but not sure I have the right paperwork. We married in UK in 2004 and when we came to Thailand in 2007 we went to register the marriage in Thailand at the Government Offices here in Nong Khai and got two official stamped documents which I have used getting Yellow Book etc but neither of these documents is the rose bordered paper people refer to?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on the necessary paperwork for obtaining a non-O visa based on marriage at the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet. They mention having registered their UK marriage in Thailand and received stamped documents, but are unsure if these are sufficient as they lack the rose-bordered marriage certificate typically required. Commenters confirm that the original UK marriage certificate can be used as an alternative.
