TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK passport holder with a Multi Entry Non O visa based on their Thai wife is nearing the expiration of their visa extension on April 12. They have completed the necessary 90-day and 60-day extensions but are unsure about their next steps due to travel restrictions from COVID-19. Possible options include obtaining a letter from the UK embassy to request an emergency extension due to inability to travel, or exploring repatriation flights back to the UK.

Thank you for your advice. I shall pass it on to my friend, what he chooses to do is up to him.

But on his behalf, thanks again.

UK Government have just announced they will be providing repatriation flights back to the UK. Get him to call the embassy and see if he can register for one of these

not to be mean spirited but you should have seen this shitstorm on the horizon and bounced out and back when the borders were open two weeks ago to get you another 90 day entry stamp THEN get the 60 day visit family extension.

BE THAT AS IT MAY:

Your option IS get the letter from your consulate and get to the immigration office to see if they'll give you an "unable to travel due to covid-19" emergency extension.

That is your only option other than leave the country and wait it out in another country until you can get back in .
