Just reported to Immigration as required and am stamped legal through the end of Nov. As an American, I wonder if this is something they will continue to do on a monthly basis as long as there are no land borders open and the U.S. Covid-19 situation remains dire. I welcome any speculation.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An American individual reported their immigration status, noting that they are legally stamped through the end of November. They inquired whether monthly visa extensions will continue as long as the U.S. COVID-19 situation is severe and there are no open land borders. A commenter mentioned that once their current stamp expires, they can apply for a 60-day extension without needing an embassy letter.

They already said that once your current stamp runs out (which in your case will be Nov 30) you can apply for a 60 day extension for 1900 baht without the need of the embassy letter, by using this form (or one like it)
the regular extension for TM7 is used along with this form (there is no real number, immigrations just wrote it up) but it's the one that I see most people using
