Hi all, partner is here on a Guardian visa (Non O) for 11yo daughter who is on an Ed visa.
Has set up a bank account. How much needs to be deposited so that they can go and get a one year extension before the 90 days is finished?
Have seen 500k and 800k mentioned in different places.
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a one-year extension on a Guardian visa (Non O) in Thailand, you are required to have at least 500,000 baht deposited in your bank account for 30 days prior to your application. It is important to maintain this amount for at least 3 months for any subsequent yearly extensions. Some discussions suggest that it could be 400K, but the general consensus leans towards the 500K requirement.

For 1-year extension based on supporting a foreign child (Guardian), you need to have 500K baht in your account (800K is for a retirement visa/extension).
The general rule is, you must have 500K baht in your account for 30 days before your first application for a 1-year extension from Non-O visa 90 days stamp.
Then, you have to keep 500K baht in your Thai bank account for 3 months for every subsequent yearly extension application.
