Hi, is anyone here on a students guardian visa? I’m wondering if they 500k you have to show for the visa has to be left in the bank or only the 60 days before visa is issued and then you can live off it. I realize you would then need it in bank again before renewal or would you? Tia

Sylvia, is correct about the financial requirements (y) the seasoning for the 500K baht is first year 30 days, every subsequent year 3 months

3 months minimum before you apply for extension. as far as i know you need to keep you balance minimum 500k. the officer will check your book bank when you do the extension.

The first time you apply for guardian visa, it needs to be in the bank for 30 days and then you can withdraw or use it. When you renew it in a year, it needs to be in the bank for 90 days and then you can withdraw or use it.
