Hi, is anyone here on a students guardian visa? I’m wondering if they 500k you have to show for the visa has to be left in the bank or only the 60 days before visa is issued and then you can live off it. I realize you would then need it in bank again before renewal or would you? Tia

TLDR : Answer Summary
The financial requirement for a student guardian visa in Thailand mandates that applicants show a balance of at least 500,000 baht. This amount must be kept in the bank for 30 days prior to the initial application. For renewals, the balance must be maintained for 90 days before applying for an extension. After the initial 30-day period for the first application, applicants can access the funds, but they must ensure the required balance is available again before the renewal.

The first time you apply for guardian visa, it needs to be in the bank for 30 days and then you can withdraw or use it. When you renew it in a year, it needs to be in the bank for 90 days and then you can withdraw or use it.
