Does anyone know the process on how to change the address in my car blue book? I assume Department of transportation in my province but are there forms, documents required.. payments?

In the past I have received a speeding ticket in the mail and I did pay it at the post office. However, I have moved and I did update Immigration of my new address but not sure if they are linked to department of transportation.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To change the address in your car blue book in Thailand, you typically need to go to the Department of Transportation in your province. It may require a form from Immigration confirming your new residence, along with your Blue Book and passport. There may also be specific documents and potential fees involved. One user mentioned that moving their address didn't seem to require a formal update, as their vehicle insurance was processed without issues after they updated it with their insurance provider.

Is it necessary to do this? I moved to a new province 9 months ago, and 2 weeks ago renewed my annual tax with the insurance showing my new address, and it was processed as normal.

- good point! Thank you for that. I may just wait until my car tax is due in early 2023 as I have already received my insurance documents to my new address.

Normally a form from the Immigration stating your new residence should suffice. Blus Blue Book and Passport.
