TLDR : Answer Summary
To transfer ownership of a second-hand car in Thailand, you will need the Blue Book (vehicle registration), your passport, a residence certificate (or alternatively a work permit or yellow book), and the DLT transfer form. It is recommended to seek assistance from a car dealer for help with forms and the process, especially if you are unfamiliar with the requirements.

Blue book, passport, DLT transfer form, certificate of residency (or work permit, or yellow book). It's really simple, can do it yourself at the DLT.

I recommend to give the transfer job to some car dealer. They have all forms in their shop and know what's requiered in copies. Especially if you buy from a farang. For my motorbike they charged me 100 thb since i bought from private and not from them. Even if you need to pay 1000,- it's worth it.
