Hello. I wanted to confirm ahead of time in case I don't understand the requirements correctly:

I'm currently on a 1 year extension based on marriage. I've been doing the same for 3+ years now. Next renewal, I'd like to change to a retirement visa based on 65k/ month international transfers.

My current extension, based on marriage, expires 19FEB2027. I started transferring 65k baht, internationally every month starting 05JAN2026.

From what I've read in this group, it should be a fairly easy change provided I have the proper bank statement(s) verifying the transfers for one year.

Can you please confirm or advise otherwise? Thank you.
Answer summary
The user seeks confirmation about changing their one-year marriage visa extension to a retirement visa, based on evidence of international bank transfers of 65,000 Baht per month. They have been making these transfers since January 2026 and plan to apply for the change before their current extension expires in February 2027. Community responses range from confirming that it should be a straightforward process to advising to check with local immigration offices due to varying policies.
