My company will cancel my visa and wp in the first week of January. It's a BOI company so i use Chamchuri Square. Please could someone outline the process and can i get the 7 day denied stamp there or will i need to go to Chaeng Wattana the same day for this? Any advice/experiences would be welcome. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, if your company is canceling your visa and work permit, especially as a BOI company, you should first obtain termination papers from your employer. You can then go to Chamchuri Square to apply for the cancellation of your work permit and possibly request a grace period stamp (7/14/21 days) to remain in Thailand before leaving. The number of days granted can vary based on different factors. If needed, you can follow up at Chaeng Wattana for a further extension or to apply for a standard application-denied stamp to allow a 7-day stay, which requires a fee.

/21 days grace period to leave Thailand, free of charge. The number of days may differ depending on the company or other conditions. You can go for cancellation in advance, so you can see how many days you can get. Or contact Chamchuri in advance about the grace period in your case.

There were very few cases in which a person from a BOI company wasn't granted this grace period stamp. If this was your case unluckily, still, you can go to Chaengwattana to apply for another extension for whatever reason and get a normal application-denied-7-days-to-leave-the-kingdom stamp by paying 1900 thb, the standard extension fee.
