On Monday, I plan to visit the BOI located in Chamchuri to obtain the necessary letter for the cancellation of my visa. Ideally, I would prefer to handle this process at the immigration office within the same building. However, my registered address is in Samut Prakan, where I have also been fulfilling my 90-day reports. This raises the question: Am I truly required to make the extensive journey to the Samut Prakan office, or can I conveniently proceed to the nearby immigration office within the Chamchuri building to accomplish the visa cancellation?

ah ok, then you have an actual visa as opposed to an extension of stay. I don't think you need to cancel this at all. Just leave when you are ready.

Oh wait yes, pardon me, I do have an extension, it says "Place of Issue: Bangkok" so I guess I have to go to Chamchuri.
