What is the process and advice for obtaining a workcation visa in Thailand?
workcation approved in 6 business days in hanoi. big thanks to everyone who posted about their experiences in this group.
* applied on wed, 6th
* additional document (business registration) on thurs, 7th
* more additional document (bank statement till present day) on fri, 8th
* pending approval on mon, 11th
* visa issued on wed, 13th
a few advices:
* if you dont know where to start, use the templates this group has
* put yourself in the officer's position. will they have follow-up questions on your submission? include them in your documents early, so they dont need to ask for it and slow down the process
* if you cannot provide what they asked for, explain why and do your best to provide the alternative
good luck with your applications!

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.
That's what you should do... print it out.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
