I started the process of reaching out to attorneys to obtain the wealthy pensioner LTR Visa, in terms of getting rates and doing my due diligence. The going rate seems to be Pretty expensive, $1,500 for primary and $750 per dependent.
I was in discussion with this one attorney who I believed was a good fit. However, I am bit of an anxious person, upon reaching out he would either ask for a clearer copy of my passport, additional income or request a few more days to respond. As such, I decided to complete the application myself. I have to say it was much easier than I thought. Fingers crossed. Hoping to move on to the next stage.

LONG TERM RESIDENT (LTR) VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
For an LTRV usual cost is around THB 150,000. I know I have one myself. Docs are a nightmare to upload on their website. Takes months. So whomever gave you that price is a scammer beware
It really was … on to the 2nd approval process. Status moved to Consideration by Government Agencies in less than 3 hours. I think so many people are afraid of making a mistake including myself, which many people don’t even want to take the chance. We are scared of the unknown. But as a YouTuber I am going to make a video on this process. Check out our channel @patrockytravel1
The difficulty comes from determining whether your income qualifies as passive income. I qualified using my work pension and a US tax return. If your income is from other types of sources then the BOI may have some questions. I didn't need an agent but I can imagine an agent could evaluate your income pretty easily. I've seen comments from people that seem to have plenty of money and income but it doesn't qualify as passive income.
No attorney/lawyer is gonna get your own personal documents (IRS Form 1040 Tax Returns, Bank Account Statements going back at least a full year, Company Annual Financial Reports, Company Meeting Minutes, Company Shareholders Lists):
it's either you already have them or need to get them yourself
