If I am on the DTV; in 180 days would I have to submit all the same paperwork as before? Or do a border run every 150 days and just get restamped?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for extending a DTV are not yet clear, with the first opportunities for extension starting on November 27th. However, it is confirmed that leaving Thailand and returning allows for a new 180-day stamp.

No one yet knows the requirements to get an extension off a DTV. November 27th is the first date that someone could possibly try, but that would be office dependent.

It is known that leaving and returning will get you a new 180 day stamp.

why is 27th Nov the earliest date? Surely anyone could technically renew or extend the day after they arrived?

The first dtv were issued mid July, so if there is a condition to wait till the last month or similar (which I'm not aware of) they wouldn't start to expire till the new year.

Some offices allow you to extend 45 days prior to your stamp expiry date. Most office allow 30 days prior. Some less than a week.
