TLDR : Answer Summary
A tourist visa for Thailand typically allows for a stay of 60 days upon arrival plus a possible extension of 30 days, totaling a maximum of 90 days. However, as of now, visa runs are not feasible due to closed land borders and restrictions with neighboring countries.

Tourist visa gives you 60 days on arrival plus

ONE extension of 30 days = max stay of 90 days.

As All land borders are CLOSED...no border runs possible...and SE Asian neighbors are still CLOSED to foreigners.

Get the correct visa for your planned stay before you trek to Thailand.

Good Luck...
