Hi, I am looking to apply for the DTV soon from the UK. I was wondering if anyone knows how long the 500,000 baht needs to be in the bank account for before and after the application? Do they check every entry?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for the DTV visa from the UK, the required 500,000 baht must be present in your bank account at the time of submission. There is no stipulated minimum duration for how long the funds need to be held prior to applying. However, if you plan to extend your visa at a Thai immigration office, you must demonstrate that the 500,000 baht has been maintained in your account for at least 30 days.

For the UK, the 500k needs to be there when you submit, no minimum length of time. They don't check every entry, final balance is the priority. If you extend your stay at a Thai immigration office you need to show an updated balance of 500K that has been there for 30 days or more.
