Really hope your group can advise. We're in the UK & my husband has been granted a Non O-A visa (based on retirement) & I have only been granted a Non O visa, single entry as I don't have the required 800K baht. I assume that his visa is multiple entry. Can someone explain the difference between these 2 visas please. Am I able to extend my visa every 90 days for another 90 days? (if so how?) or do I have to leave the country & re-apply? Also what is the difference between the multiple & single entry. Any advice would be really appreciated.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non O-A visa is a retirement visa providing long-term stay (up to one year) with multiple entries, while the Non O visa is a short-term visa (single entry) that allows an initial stay of 90 days. To extend the Non O visa as the spouse of a Non O-A visa holder, you need to apply at the immigration office, usually up to 30 days before the 90-day mark, with necessary documents like your marriage certificate (which must be apostilled). Your husband’s multiple entry visa allows him to come and go without reapplying, while your single entry visa requires you to exit Thailand and potentially reapply if not extended.
