Non-O or Non-O-A Visa?
I got my initial retirement visa in my home country issued in Sept 2019.
According to posts in this group visa issued in home country can be only (or usually?) a Non-O-A?
I attached pics of the original visa and the arrival stamp.
Both say 'Non-O' but is it technically still a 'Non-O-A' just the 'A' is not mentioned or does a 'Non-O-A' has a written 'A'. Someone has an example pic of a 'Non-O-A'?
It matters because of the health insurance requirement.
I would appreciate very much if someone could enlighten me.
P.S.
- I have an insurance but doesn't cover out-patient
- When I entered 8. Nov 2019 BKK immigration I was NOT asked for any prove of insurance
- I already made a 1-year extension thru an agent (made 29. Nov 2019) where I was not asked for prove of health insurance!
P.P.S.
If anyone has trouble to get or extend their retirement visa I can point to this agent. I'm not affiliated with them, I just used their service and it worked very well! If interested PM me!
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user sought clarification on their retirement visa type, questioning whether their Non-O visa issued in their home country could actually be a Non-O-A visa without the 'A' being explicitly mentioned. Comments confirmed that the visa is indeed a Non-O (single entry) and not an O-A, hence not requiring health insurance for the visa extension.
