Anyone know the turnaround time for a Non-O from London, at the moment?

I applied 2 months before and it took 3 weeks that was with extra questions. That are probably a bit more busy now it has dropped to 30 days visa exempt

It’s valid from the date I submitted application though. On 14 th. Instead of arrival date. Seems a bit crazy to me.

Pete Miller it's strange really because even with all the correct documentation you CANNOT apply more than 90 days before arrival

I applied 15th sept with all proof of accommodation , bank statements etc got asked for further documents ie flights on the 29th sept I booked my flights as they wanted proof I was heading out two weeks later heard nothing. I flew out anyways got to Bangkok airport checked emails .there was an email from London Embassy saying if you have left UK your visa will be cancelled. By then it was too late I emailed them to cancel my application. I'm now on a 15th month visa in Thailand. Happy days.
