What is the current processing time for visa applications submitted via the Thai consulate in Hanoi?

Applied on 28, doc request on 1sep, changed to pending approval 3sep and waiting since

I applied early August in Hanoi for the workcation DTV and it was in the 'Pending Approval' status for exactly 14 days. No additional documents were requested and I did not contact them. I know it can be difficult to remain patient and we want to know the answer and make forward plans, however, unless you have a flight booked that's getting close then consider waiting another week as it is still within the expected processing timeframe for Hanoi. I think taking a little longer can be a good sign, as it is moving through the internal stages successfully. Good luck! 🤞🏻

I am in the same boat. I applied in Hanoi as well on August 28th and my status changed to pending approval on September 1st.

Hoping to get an answer this week, please keep me updated I will do the same. Did you apply for a workcation? And what day did your statua change to pending?

So, this is general advice, since I did not apply via that location: Instead of asking strangers on the internet, do what I did that netted almost immediate effective results: Contact the consulate directly. They are there to answer your questions. I have consistently been able to communicate with my local consulate and get responses ranging from immediate to next-day (depending on the time I reached out to them with my concern). Only they can truly answer your questions with any authority.
