TLDR : Answer Summary
There are ongoing discussions around the status of DTV visa applications submitted in Cambodia around mid-September. Some individuals report delays, with one user mentioning they have been waiting since September 15 without any response. However, others indicate that approvals are being processed, with some receiving confirmations recently. It's suggested that the recent holidays might have contributed to the delays in processing.

maybe, but they says, that embassy on Philippines telling that after you provide everything, and etc, and your status changes to pending approval, you can wait everywhere where you want, except Thailand.
John *******
Anonymous participant so they must have that in writing, since it is almost impossible to get ahold of them via phone. There is another Thai embassy that clearly says opposite on thejr page.

different embassy, different rules. Even Cambodia writing 10 working days, already 17 working days gone and still nothing. I'm understand situation about two countries, but can write on your official website like can be delay up to 20 working days or something like that. If I will knows that it's will be so long, I will be already get DTV in Jakarta
John *******
Anonymous participant - ok, if you want to say “different embassies different rules” you just said that someone on the other page told you about someone at the Manila embassy telling them that, not the Phnom Penh embassy. So, it works both ways. Also, again, the 10 days. Since July, the embassy has requested all Thais to leave the country. If you look at their Facebook page or even their news, updates on their webpage, they have almost stopped all posts. The embassy now understaffed
John *******
Anonymous participant - so it isn’t the nationality (some South Asians and African passports take a month)

I know about it. That's why I'm ask, maybe someone also waiting or maybe knows what happens.
John *******
Anonymous participant - I do know the consular section is responsible for both visas and supporting Thai nationals in Cambodia. The tensions between the two countries have probably lead to more work on supporting Thai nationals. Furthermore, Thailand did request all Thai nationals to leave Cambodia, and that would include non-essential staff and family of essential staff. These things slow reviews down.

John *******
Anonymous participant yeah, problem is, when does your Cambodian visa expire?

already expired. We make border to Vietnam and back

That might affect approvals. You need to stay in the same country until it gets approved
