4 days processing and got my DTV

Submitted Photo & passport & bank statements & Proof stamp of being in Hanoi as part of my application

Next day they asked for certificate or incorporation for the company I work for & updated bank statement showing the balance still in the account

Then nothing for 2 more days it’s really easy people shouldn’t stress key is employment & money

Boom I’m going to celebrate buying a new car in bangkok

Do you have to be in Hanoi or HCMC to apply? I am planning to visit a different part of Vietnam and still apply in HCMC via the evisa process.

I don’t think you’re supposed to have a choice. What office you go to. When I applied, it told me which one to choose.

Great idea, i did similar when looking at walk ins. Hanoi has overtaken HCM with the time of approval. Your son maybe approved even faster than you.

Ho Chi got back to me within 20 hours of first submission to request payslips. Some get processed super fast. Others longer. I'm getting the feeling the country you're from plays some role in how fast things move.
