We applied for our visa in Jakarta, and the application started on December 1st.
On December 12th, we were requested to submit all passport pages, which we have already uploaded.
As of December 17th, there has been no further update, and the status is still showing “Pending Document Check”.
So far, it has been 14 working days in this status.
I would like to ask others who applied in Jakarta:
• How long did your DTV (Workcation) visa processing take?
• Is this delay normal?
My current visa in Jakarta expires on December 26th.
Once my visa is approved, I plan to apply for my wife as a dependent.
Do you think it is realistic for both of us to receive the visas before December 26th?
If not, would it be necessary for us to do a same-day exit and re-entry via Kuala Lumpur?
Also, once my visa is approved, would you recommend sending an email to request urgent processing for my wife’s dependent visa?
If anyone has applied recently, please share:
• Did your application also take this long?
• How many days did it stay under “Pending Document Check”?
Thank you in advance for your advice and shared experiences.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking insights on the typical processing duration for a DTV (Workcation) visa in Jakarta, as well as the normalcy of delays in visa processing. They have been in 'Pending Document Check' status for 14 working days and are concerned about their upcoming visa expiration on December 26th. The user also inquires about the feasibility of applying for their wife's dependent visa and the necessity of a same-day exit if their visas are not approved on time. The comments offer various experiences and advice regarding similar applications and processing times.
It really has not been 14 working days. The day you uploaded doesn’t count, there have been several holidays during this time frame as well. My count is 9 days. Therefore you still have a day or two to wait
It's only been 9 working days so far, day of submission doesn't count and 5th and 10th December were thai holidays. Some consulates also reset the processing time if you submit additional documents by I don't know if Jakarta does.
