Hi everyone, yup I'm a bit slow. Been coming to Thai many years and have had many a wonderful trip. I often visited other countries whilst here so didn't need to worry about 30 or then 45 day visa. Now getting on in years and a permanent girlfriend ( unless she nags too much) need to think about the 60 day online visa for when I'm back in the UK in April to come back June. Best advice please. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on obtaining a 60-day online visa for Thailand while planning a trip back from the UK. Comments suggest applying through the official website and mention that the 60-day visa can be easily extended. They also discuss alternatives for extending stay options, such as leaving for nearby countries to reset visa days, and note that retirees might consider a Non-Immigrant Visa O for long-term stays.

Make it simple if you are 50 years or more. Start with a 90 days Non Immigrant Visa O (Retirement) and then a 1 year Non Immigrant Visa O (Retirement) extension. In addition you get a Re Entry Permit Multiple Entry.

30 on arrival, 30 extend. Fly out and see Malaysia or vietnam for a few days or hours, then 30 again.

I do this twice a year for my 180 allowance

That 60 can easily be extended for another 30 . I have used them and they work well.

14 month's now. Truth be told, she's a nice person and works hard for long hours as a hairdresser. And I'm just hard work. 555 😁
