TLDR : Answer Summary
Jim is applying for a non-O retirement visa in Thailand, which requires proof of financial stability through bank statements indicating 800,000 THB for the past three months. He is seeking clarification on the necessity and definition of a sponsor letter. Responses indicate that a bank statement is sufficient for the application, and a sponsor letter may not be necessary if the bank statements meet the requirement.

I’m doing this now also. I believe the application says bank statements OR a sponsor letter.
