Can someone confirm for me please - extension by marriage.

Does the 400k need to be shown as originating from overseas ? Currently shifting via Transferwise & like many , it doesn't always show as FFT on my bank bank. TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion confirms that while the 400,000 baht for a marriage visa extension does not need to be sourced from overseas, it must be held in a Thai bank account in the applicant's name for at least two months prior to the application date. It is also required to show proof of a monthly income of 40,000 baht, which can come from an international bank account or pension, without needing recent statements.

does the ,..or proof of 40,000k a month still apply?

Robert C. Bigelow yes it does, just did my 1 year extension and they want that amount, or more, every calendar month and it needs to come from and international bank account or source.

I applied in Udon Thani and they also required a proof of the origin of the funds, be it a pension or super annuation statement, the statement didn't have to be current.

No, it does not have to be a foreign deposit, but it must be at least 2 months prior application date on a Thai bank account in your name.
