Is it true that when applying for DTV as a Brit you only need to have had the 500k+ THB in your account for 1 month? And also to confirm I MUST 100% apply from my home country now, not a border run etc?
Thanks
Answer summary
Yes, as a Brit applying for the DTV, you only need to maintain 500,000 THB in your bank account for one month prior to application. It is confirmed that you must apply for the visa from your home country and not through a border run.

Has anyone created a THIM profile by scanning the new style US passport? For me THIM scan fails saying to ‘uncover’ the photo. I don’t see a method in THIM to manually enter the data when creating a profile
Thank you all for the input I did the THIM and was waiting for the health declaration to be sent, it stated we will send when required (I fly 9.50am tomorrow) so I did the TDAC last night and it’s all sorted
The THIM App is not yet finalised yet, so the TDAC still works. Eventually the APP will replace the website. I used the APP last week and it is operational.
TDAC is the arrival card only , but I believe the THIM site will store your data ready for the automatic gates , if your a regular user , do it via the THIM , get your data stored ready to go “next time” 😉
JoyfulRaspberry975 The THIM APP will eventually store the Biometrics, and replace the TDAC. However, it is not fully rolled out yet. It does work for the TDAC and Health declaration.
Use an Android not iPhone or iPad (it fails repeatedly. )
I did mine on the tarmac and in the shuttle bus after landing because I forgot…..Fortunately it was accepted immediately and the IO already had it on her computer.
