TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on the verification process of their Thai marriage certificate for obtaining a spouse visa while planning to settle in Korat, Thailand. They are married for 12 years and wish to avoid unnecessary travel to Bangkok for verification. Responses from the community indicate that verification might not be necessary, but they should obtain a Kor Ror 2 document from the local amphur confirming their marriage status annually for visa extensions. Suggestions were also made to contact local legal services in Korat for assistance.

You donāt need to verify your marriage certificate as you were married in Thailand. What you will need to do is provide Immigration with a Kor Ror 2 document from the local amphur which confirms that your still married. You will have to do this every year to obtain your extensions.
Dont think embassies verify marriage certificates issued in Thailand for use in Thailand.
Some places require an updated certificate most dont and your original marriage cert should suffice. Need to check with immigration in Korat when you get there
