TLDR : Answer Summary
Several expatriates living in Thailand suggest Allianz Care as a reliable health insurance option, highlighting its acceptance in many hospitals and suitability for global travelers. Genki.world is recommended for digital nomads, while AXA Global Healthcare is noted for its global coverage, except in the US. A suggestion was also made to contact Tenzing Pacific Services, a well-known insurance broker in Thailand, for personalized advice and options.

You can stay with Allianz but thru Thailand branch..or choose another..depends what you want in package. Here are instant quotes and details of packages in pdf files when you choose package..easy to book and pay in installments..all insurance companies in one place. For travel or health insurance 😁

Genki.world

Great for nomads.

Thai insurers are only suitable if you are a bonafide resident and have a Thai bank account

And the best part is not sending documents.

Just write your name in and done.

do you need a Thai bank account to have an Allianz account?

if you are referring to the international Allianz then no, if you are asking about the Allianz Thailand, then maybe due to reimbursements, however, if you stick to hospitals within the network, Allianz will pay directly.

Alianz is good here.
