Hi! We have our under consideration stamp stamp till the 6th of august but are planning on returning to our country between the 10-15th of august. Was wondering if we can avoid going back to immigration to complete the loop or can it be avoided? If we don’t complete the loop and exit on a date beyond the ‘under consideration’ stamp can we face trouble at the immigration at the airport? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the implications of exiting Thailand with an 'under consideration' immigration stamp that is set to expire on August 6, while they plan to leave between August 10-15. They specifically want to avoid returning to immigration to close the stamp and are concerned about potential issues at the airport if they exceed the stamp's validity. A response emphasizes the importance of concluding the under consideration stamp process to prevent the risk of being considered on overstay and suggests that finalizing it is a quick process.

I highly recommend closing out the "under consideration" stamp for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. An under consideration stamp can be thought of a "temporary" extension of stay, and if you don't close it out, in theory, you could be on overstay.

I wouldn't risk it. It should be a very fast process.
