We just got our under consideration stamp but are supposed to be on holiday when we are supposed to pick it up. Does anyone know how flexible the date is to come a few days earlier or later? What happens if you miss the date?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community suggests that it is crucial to return before the date stamped on your passport for the under consideration visa. Going earlier is recommended to avoid being considered late, which could complicate future immigration procedures.

It is better you go earlier, never go after the date stamped in your passport, they will consider you late and it will be difficult for you to do the rest

Its important you return as instructed.

If going to be away, go earlier and ask immigration if they would close out the UNDER CONSIDERATION stamp.

thanks. Going a few days earlier is definitely possible. Just worried they wouldn’t have finished ‘considering’!

I am in chiangmai and I got Oct 7 on my stamp. I asked desk lady that we will be on trip to krabi on the pick up date.

the lady told me I can come back to pick up after anytime after 2pm on Oct 7th. She advised me to come back anytime on Oct 12th. They will be opened.
