Can I go to immigration one day later than the date on the "Under Consideration" stamp without issues?

Question about "Under Consideration" Stamp

I've been told by a visa agent that you don't need to come back to CW immigration on the exact date of the stamp and are allowed to go one day afterwards and still receive the extension I've applied for.

Is this true? Or is it absolutely required to go on the date and no later?

Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus among commenters suggests it might be fine to visit immigration one day after the "Under Consideration" stamp date, but this is risky as it depends on the officer's discretion and could lead to complications. It is advised to adhere to the stamped date to avoid any potential issues.

I'll agree that realistically it's probably fine... btw, what extension are you under consideration for?

Personally, I wouldn't chance going late.

If your extension is until 29 July, I'd go on the 27th rather than the first of August ๐Ÿ˜‰

YMMV

Should be before ,not later

Do not go before the under consideration date stamped. You may get away with a day later, but best to go on the day stamped.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I assume the under consideration stamp date they give you is the date you go otherwise you go into overstay ?

Realistically, it's probably fine.

But immigration isn't really something you want to take a chance with. If you catch the wrong officer that hit traffic that morning, they might decide to make your day as bad as theirs.

Also there's a lot of holidays coming up, so you'd want to check that and make extra certain you don't end up being much more than 1 day late because the offices are closed.
